Event was held Friday, June 18th at The Ridge Golf Course in Sioux Center, for youth ages 11-18 years old.
There was a free morning clinic put on by area golf pros providing instruction on driving, putting, pitching, chipping, and approach. In the afternoon, the youth paired up with an adult for an alternate shot 9-hole benefit.
The benefit and pledges raised from the youth, raised close to $2,000. All of this money will directly benefit the local and international programs of Hope Haven.
Thank you to all who participated, volunteered, and sponsored this event. This event wouldn't be successful without the support of the community.

All who participated received an event t-shirt, golf balls, and skills booklet. The people who raised the most pledges won exciting prizes. First Place: Amber Van Regenmortor won an i-pod touch, and Second Place: Arie Hoekstra won a $50 gift card to Scheels. Thank you to Amber, Arie, and all other participants who put the effort into raising pledges.
